What sympathy and conviviality!
The Flemish viewer of VTM has clearly taken the Duo Steve & Maurice to their hearts... Although B&B Bourgeoisie did not receive the most number of beds during the distribution of points in the program 'With four in bed' on the TV channel VTM, it was a storm. the Bed and Breakfast of the two gentlemen...
Hundreds of customers called Steve & Maurice by telephone to congratulate them personally and more than 193,000 viewers watched on Social Media and expressed their dissatisfaction with the other participants at sea.
These reportedly won unlawfully, according to watching Flanders...
The Internet and Social Media were bursting with indignant Flemish people who did not think it was fair that the opposing candidates from the sea had 'consciously' given far too few points to B&B Bourgeoisie so that the opposing candidates could walk away with the trophy themselves...
And they also played and did that tactically, but that was not missed by the VTM viewer! 'Personally, I am satisfied that we have remained true to ourselves' and have given fair points... say Steve and Maurice.
If I had won in such a way as the candidates from the sea played for each other, I would not have felt good about it at all. And what a lot of criticism these people have had on Social Media...
But hey, he who sows the wind will reap the storm, they say... And there is a lot of wind at the sea!
We thought participating in the TV program 'With four in bed' was fantastic and we had a great feeling about it...
In addition, we have received a lot of reservations and to this day we still receive sweet messages and phone calls from sincere people who support us, which is heart-warming!

Hello dear people, first of all we would like to thank the SUPER sweet fans and the more than 193,000 VIEUWS and 'silently counting' hits on VTM!!!
We still feel a bit like a WINNER. The reason for this message is that in a friendly INTERVIEW by DAG ALLEMAAL I had given a modest expression of our recently purchased CHATEAU in France. But the booklets would of course not be the booklets, because this could be done very differently and much. stated too directly…
NEVER HAVE I PRONOUNCED THE TITLE of 'WE WANT TO BECOME THE NEW ISLANDS!'
A subtle reference was made in the original interview because customers regularly told us: 'You look like the MEILANDJES...' We mentioned this in the interview... WHILE NOW THIS TITLE ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT FEEL NICE TO ME...
But we will have to learn to live with that and take everything that is in the books with a grain of salt... In itself I am grateful and satisfied with the interview, but the TITLE did not sit well with me...
